Happy fall friends! This is truly my favorite time of year… hoodies, boots, bonfires, and pumpkin spice everything!

I haven’t written in a while & I apologize! A little update on the Jones family. Life is good & God is faithful! Bryson turned 12 September 6th and he is in the 6th grade. He just started playing baseball and I pray every day that he gets his life together. He struggles more than any of us and sometimes he anger is more than I am able to handle!

Mariah turned 10 August 1st and she is in the 5th grade. She dances at Performing Arts Academy and loves it! She has grown up so fast and I probably depend on her a little too much.

Kyler turned 7 June 20th and he is in 1st grade. He hasn’t decided what he wants to do quite yet; but he is my social butterfly and loves everyone!

Most of all… all 3 of them are my pride and joy!

A little about me…
I am doing great, happier than I’ve ever been. I have an amazing man in my life that I love more than anything! God sent me a second chance and I couldn’t be more blessed. After I lost my husband, I was told by so many that I would never heal, that I’d learn to deal with it. Well, they were wrong! I will always love and miss him. But I no longer want my old life back. I am so excited about my new life.

For the first time in 3 years, I am ok with closing chapter 1! So many times we say that God will not give us more than we can handle. But that isn’t true. God gives us way more than we can handle so that we learn to reach out and depend on him. I made so many mistakes over the last three years trying to fix this myself. And I convinced myself that I was doing ok, but in reality I wasn’t! It took a cold reality check and I realized that I had to get serious about God and put him back in our lives.

On a different note… Many of you guys know that C.O.P.S. (concerns of police survivors) have been my lifeline. Every year I walk 25 miles in memory of all fallen heroes and this year I will walk my 100th mile!

I can’t describe the feelings that we experience during this walk. Its two days of me completely zoning out and thinking while I walk. The walk will take place October 7th and 8th in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.

I’m so excited to announce that my oldest, Bryson will also participate this year!

I hope everyone has a blessed Fall season and I’ll write again soon!
